Since 2021, I have been specializing in cognitive-behavioral therapy, focusing on autism counseling, anxiety, ADHD, and trauma therapy. It's important to recognize that individuals with autism often face various additional challenges beyond their primary diagnosis, and addressing these issues holistically is crucial for promoting long-term health.
My approach to autism counseling is client-centered, collaborative, and evidence-based. I prioritize building a trusting and safe therapeutic relationship, focusing on integrating cognitive-behavioral therapy techniques. By leaning into a person's strengths and interests, I incorporate them into my therapeutic practice, including trauma therapy when needed.
I hold a master's degree in Social Work from Westfield State University and have completed the necessary requirements to obtain my LCSW. Additionally, I am credentialed in trauma therapy, specifically in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy from CHDI, which enhances my skills in providing effective autism counseling.
I am constantly working to improve my therapeutic practice, including engaging in various trainings throughout the year, reading literature on autism counseling, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and trauma therapy, as well as developing my own trainings for others.
